New Floodplain Maps Take Effect!

Effective September 26, 2008, the new flood plain levels went into effect. This means that 723 feet is the lowest level you can build. While existing structures below 723 feet will be grandfathered, any future remodeling or rebuilding, addition, or renovation that exceeds 50% of the market value of the structure will be brought into compliance with the new flood plain requirements.

Deed Restrictions

The Official Deed Restrictions and Additional Drawings are available for printing. As mentioned at the May 3rd meeting, the drawings make it easier to understand the various building restrictions.

At least 78 property owner signatures were received, and the Deed Restrictions were recently filed with the County Clerk's office.

Front Entrance Lights

Thanks to Mark Hollcraft, Chair to the Architectural Control Committee, for setting up the new LCD solar lighting at the neighborhood front entrance.  The Travis Landing sign over the big log lights up at dusk and stays on all night.
